The new gaming room is coming along nicely!


I have a mother-in-law apartment in my basement that was called "The Bud-hole".  My friends and I would game there.  But, Mollie and I decided to turn it into an actual apartment.  

I still wanted a gaming room, so I converted out utility room to my new gaming room.

AAR 3 - The Infected Trees

The Commandos were able to determine what had attacked the small village they had previously scouted out.  It ended up being a nest of spiders.  And not just any type of spider; Giant Spiders.  This is Mission 1 Scenario 2 from the Rangers of Shadow Deep rule book.  I didn't have to change anything to make it work with Airborne of Shadow Deep. "Hey Sergent." "What?" "Have I ever told you that I hate spiders?" "Most people hate spiders, Captain." "No, you don't understand.  I REALLY hate spiders." It was obvious that the spiders had been busy by the looks of things.  There were cocoons all over the place.  The size of the cocoons indicated that the must have bodies inside them.  The team quickly moves up and engages a spider. The Captain and Sergeant move up to take on a spider. Cpl. Smith takes to the hill for a better shot at a spider. With out notice, the spiders quickly swarm Cpt. AAR 2 - The Missing Informant

The Reverend Lacey got notified that one of his informants went missing.  He and his commandos went to the small village to investigate.  Once they got there, they knew things weren't right.  There was no one in the village.  It was completely deserted.  The houses were all locked up as if the whole village decided to move away.  What could have scared them so bad to leave everything behind? I played the Scenario 1: Deserted Village from the main Rangers of Shadow Deep rulebook.  I didn't need to make any changes to the scenario to work with Airborne of Shadow Deep.  Instead of the group looking for another ranger, it was an informant.  I left Aventine's sword in the scenario.  I figure it will work fine in the Weird War 2 setting. And on with the report... Deathship One - Epsilon Room

"What the hell just happened in there!?!?" screamed Sgt. Stryker. "They're dead!  They're dead!" sobbed Pvt. Henney. "May God have mercy on their souls while we're still in Hell." whispered Rev. Lacey. "Jumping Jehoshaphat, we're still stuck here!" said Pvt. Barton. The team appears in a new room.  That room was Epsilon Room, one with shifting walls.  Every event phase, a random section of the enclosed room in the upper right corner would open.  This really sucks as you run your team to an opening to only have it close when they get there.  You're a mean one Mr. McCullough.  There's a reason I like your games. The team started to move out and hope for the best.  They were all bleeding badly and very tired.  This was because the medic, Cpl.
